Hope at Montreat College Conference 2008

What is Hope?
I made this video before the Montreat 2008 College Conference as an introduction to the event. It is a compilation of small interviews of people in Blacksburg, VA, who were each asked to respond to the question “What is hope?” The video was played on the opening night of the camp.

VIDEO DESCRIPTIONS

Southwest China 2008
The first week of October is known as “Golden Week” in China – one of only a few national holidays where the whole country takes vacation.  From September 26 to October 4, I spent 9 days backpacking through China’s incredible southwest.  This video is a compilation of photos and video clips from my trip.

Shanghai 2008
This is a video of my fall semester in Shanghai, China. As the second part of my Horton Scholarship Trip, I spent three months as an intern for General Electric working on the Advanced Technology Operations Wind Team. Thanks again to all my coworkers and friends for all your help and for making my time in Shanghai unforgettable!

Dalian Summer 2008
This is a video I made of my trip to Dalian, China, during the summer of 2008. As the first part of my Horton Scholarship Trip, I spent three months taking Chinese classes and my Chinese dramatically improved. It was a summer I will never forget.
